Definitely one of my favorite sport stars and football players surely is David Beckham. I collect biographies from sports stars and heroes (current and past) and I own two of Beckham's books he published over the years. I was always hoping he would return to England where I may watch his football talents on a regular basis again, therefore it was good to hear he returned to England and Spurs. It seems he is enjoying the stay at home, because he will be staying at Spurs for at least another 2 weeks....(read more)

The former England captain had been set to return to the United States this week but the Premier League side says he will stick around until February 22.
The 35-year-old midfielder will begin preseason training with Los Angeles Galaxy on February 24 in preparation for the Major League Soccer season.
Tottenham’s attempt to sign Beckham on loan last month faltered but manager Harry Redknapp still wants him and has said he could try again when his contract with the Galaxy expires in November.
