Another Sporting & Action filled week-end is behind us and I have no clue where to begin...! Lets start with the LOW point of the past week-end. PROTEAS vs ENGLAND...
I played cricket and have been watching Cricket for about 30+ years now and I have seen this happen so many times before. A low bouncing and spinning pitch like the one SA and England played on can be so unpredictable that even a low score like England's 171 can be defended. I agree that South Africa have only themselves to blame, because there were several times during the match that I thought we were in control and that we would take it home surely. The turning point I felt was when we lost three wickets with the score on 124. De Villiers, Du Plessis and Duminy's wickets at that stage cost us the game...!
The only positive to me was again our bowling and fielding, which was excellent and the fact that we lost this game now, and not in a possible semi-final. Hopefully the guys learned from this heartbreaking defeat?
