Manchester United took on Tottenham Hotspur at Spurs' White Hart Lane and they can thank Wayne Rooney for scoring twice and securing a draw. Spurs lead for most of the game, but each time Rooney scored to bring Manchester United back into contention.
United would have bargained on a win and the full three points after Spurs came off their 6-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City last weekend, but it was not to be. The 2-2 result hands them two draws in their last two outings, which is not what Manager David Moyes would want at this stage of the competition.
